Access Control Systems

Many organisations have been recognising benefits of replacing their old key card based systems for controlling access to buildings with electronic access control systems. The benefits in lower running are - costs and ease of administration which have proven to be very useful time and again.

A bit about the use of access control systems:

Access control systems are security systems which control entry into or within buildings through controlling doors, revolving doors, turnstiles, gates and barriers. These doors are opened usually through the use of:

  • Entering a code into a keypad
  • Swiping a card
  • Presenting a key fob or token

These systems can be used in controlling access into or around any premises.

Including: Offices, Leisure and golf clubs, Schools, Warehouses, Flats, Factories, Self-storage facilities, etc…

If required specific parts of buildings can be controlled, limiting who can enter at different times. This is particularly useful for restricted areas in retail, schools and leisure clubs.
